Model-Based Design for Embedded Systems

7 chapters · 32 lessons

1. 1. From Requirements to Executable Models

   5 lessons

Translate system requirements into precise, runnable models that specify behavior and constraints.

2. 2. Simulation-Driven Validation

   5 lessons

Use simulation to explore edge cases, tune parameters, and verify behavior before hardware exists.

3. 3. Code Generation and Deployment

   5 lessons

Generate production-ready code from models and integrate it into embedded targets.

4. 4. Hardware Validation and Integration

   4 lessons

Validate models on real hardware using hardware-in-the-loop and processor-in-the-loop testing.

5. 5. Managing Product Variants and Configuration

   4 lessons

Design models that support multiple hardware targets, feature sets, and deployment scenarios.

6. 6. Cross-Functional Collaboration with Models

   4 lessons

Use models as the shared language between controls, software, test, and product teams.

7. 7. Real-World Case Studies and Best Practices

   5 lessons

Apply model-based design principles to automotive, robotics, and industrial automation projects.
